About THE OWNER

Purtell & Associates was founded by Bill Purtell in 1993. Bill's core principles of honesty, quality, & integrity have kept the company on the right path through some of the most difficult of economic times in our nations history. Bill began his career in the mortgage banking industry in 1986 after graduating from college with a degree in Business-Economics. After 5 years as a credit analyst, a building loan underwriter, and a mortgage underwriter, his passion for real estate launched him into a new direction in the field of real estate appraisal and he has not looked back since. Bill has personally trained many appraisers in the area, he is often the featured guest speaker at many seminars, and is a NYS approved Real Estate & Appraisal Instructor.
